Two folks have been taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash close to Cribbs Causeway throughout morning rush hour.
One affected person was taken to hospital in a police automotive and the opposite in an ambulance after the collision on the A4081, reverse Laurel Courtroom, earlier right now (December 12).
Video footage taken by a motorist confirmed a pink Audi and a silver van have been among the many automobiles concerned within the crash, which was reported to emergency companies at round 8.15am.
The collision – which occurred reverse Dick Lovett’s BMW storage – left one lane blocked and induced important delays within the space.
It’s understood the 2 folks taken to hospital suffered minor accidents.
A spokesperson for Avon Fireplace and Rescue mentioned: “At 8.13am, crews from Southmead and Patchway have been referred to as to a three-vehicle street visitors collision on Laurel Courtroom in Cribbs Causeway.
“All casualties have been launched previous to our arrival and firefighters made the automobiles and scene secure.
“One casualty was conveyed to hospital by police following first support by firefighters and one other was conveyed to hospital by ambulance.”
The spokesperson indicated the police provided to take the affected person to hospital to avoid wasting one other ambulance being despatched.
“It allowed for us to safe the scene faster,” the spokesperson added.
The street was totally reopened by 10am.
Avon and Somerset Constabulary and the South Western Ambulance Service have each been approached for remark.
